Located nearby to the patriotic garden is the butterfly garden. It is planted and maintained by bed keepers, Gary Ellis and Janet Pratt with help from several of their master gardener friends. Every plant has been selected either because the flower’s nectar draws the butterflies or because it is a special host plant for the larva of these butterflies. On sunny days this bed swarms with a wonderful variety of these “flying flowers”.
