The Wabash Valley Herb Society, Inc. sponsors an annual “Herb Faire” held at the Vigo County Fairgrounds Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend in May. This event attracts over 6,000 visitors and has over 80 vendor booths of herbs, vegetable plants, trees & crafts. In 2010, they introduced a food court with four food vendors. At noon, they feature a tasting of several recipes from the Herb Society’s most recent cookbook. The WVMGA participates by having a booth selling mature tomato plants, hanging baskets, flowers and herbs.
